County Landfill to Reopen Six Days a Week

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - After an extended reduction to four days a week due to COVID-19, the Broward County Landfill, located at 7101 SW 205th Avenue (U.S. 27 and Sheridan Street), will be reopening to the public six days a week effective Monday, June 14, 2021. The hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday, from 8AM–4PM. 

The facility accepts bulk trash, construction and demolition material, yard waste, tires (rims less than 25 inches in diameter) and white goods (such as refrigerators and washing machines). Unacceptable waste includes household garbage/food waste, hazardous waste (such as used oil, pesticides, pool chemicals) and gasoline. Customers will need to provide a valid driver’s license for use.
