Weekend/Holiday Gate Fee Will Resume at Most Regional Parks
  
  

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Starting on Saturday, July 10th, Broward County Parks and Recreation will resume charging its regular weekend/holiday gate fee of $1.50/person (ages 5 and under free), effective at the following regional parks:

  • Brian Piccolo Sports Park & Velodrome, 9501 Sheridan St., Cooper City 33024; 954-357-5150
  • C.B. Smith Park, 900 N Flamingo Rd., Pembroke Pines 33028; 954-357-5170
  • Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill 33311; 954-357-5400
  • Easterlin Park, 1000 NW 38th St., Oakland Park 33309; 954-357-5190
  • Markham Park & Target Range, 16001 W State Rd. 84, Sunrise 33326; 954-357-8868
  • Miramar Pineland, 3600 S University Dr., Miramar 33025; 954-357-8776
  • Plantation Heritage Park, 1100 S Fig Tree Lane, Plantation 33317; 954-357-5135
  • T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park, 3300 N Park Rd., Hollywood 33021; 954-357-8811

Hollywood North Beach Park (3501 N Ocean Dr., Hollywood 33019) charges a parking fee but not the weekend/holiday gate fee. Metered parking is available, first-come, first-served, at the five nearby pocket parks: Green Park (4400 N Ocean), Hawksbill Park (5200 N Ocean), Kemp’s Ridley Park (4918 N Ocean), Leatherback Park (4398 N Ocean), and Loggerhead Park (4008 N Ocean). There is never a gate fee at our neighborhood parks, nature centers, natural areas, and Everglades Holiday Park (21940 Griffin Rd., Fort Lauderdale 33332; 954-357-8868)
