BROWARD
COUNTY, FL - With holiday plans underway, many people are planning to travel with their dogs and cats or
schedule them to stay at a boarding kennel. To ensure your pet is
protected during the holiday season, Animal Care reminds you to schedule your
pet vaccinations now.
To accommodate
travel requirements, the Pet Care Clinic offers vaccination packages, including rabies vaccinations. The packages also include Bordetella vaccines
required by boarding kennels. Broward County pet license tags and microchips
are also available to help identify lost pets.
The Clinic is
located at the Animal Care Adoption Center, 2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort
Lauderdale, 33312. Hours of operation are by appointment only Tuesday
through Saturday, 9AM to 5PM. Clinic appointments will be suspended during the
holiday week, starting Tuesday, December 21 and resuming Tuesday,
December 28.
Residents can
schedule an appointment online,
by calling 954-357-9567 or emailing petcareclinic@broward.org.
