BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Our 2021-2022 Family Hayride & Campfire Series is well under way at multiple parks. Schedules vary by park, but they're all from 6:30 to 9PM and cost $4/person for ages 3 and up. That includes one hayride through the park and a bag of goodies to make s'mores with around the campfire afterward.

The events are on Fridays everywhere but Markham, where they're on Saturdays (the park's weekend gate fee of $1.50/person, ages 5 and under free, will also be in effect). There are four events in December, highlighted below:

• Easterlin Park (1000 NW 38th St., Oakland Park 33309; 954-357-5190) - Dec. 10th, Jan. 7th, Feb. 11th

• Markham Park & Target Range (16001 W State Rd. 84, Sunrise 33326; 954-357-8868) - Dec. 18th 

• Quiet Waters Park (401 S Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach 33442; 954-357-5100) - Jan. 14th 

• Reverend Samuel Delevoe Park, 2520 NW Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale 33311; 954-357-8801) - Dec. 3rd

• Tradewinds Park & Stables (3600 W Sample Rd., Coconut Creek 33073; 954-357-8870) - Jan. 28th, Feb. 4th, Feb. 25th 

• T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park (3300 N Park Rd., Hollywood 33021; 954-357-8811) - Dec. 17th, Jan. 21st, Feb. 18th

Preregistration and prepayment are required, either at the park office or by visiting WebTrac.Broward.org.
