Learn the Basics of Basketball
  
- Program for ages 13-25 with developmental disabilities -
  

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Teens and young adults with developmental disabilities are invited to participate in Skills: Learn the Basics of Basketball, on Thursdays from 5 to 6PM, at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium (3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill 33311; 954-357-5400). The latest session of this free program start on March 31st and continues through May 5th.

Ages 13 to 25 will learn such basketball basics as dribbling, shooting, passing, jumping, rebounding, and defense. Although the program is free, space is limited and reservations are required by calling 954-357-8170/8160 or emailing SpecialPopulations@Broward.org.

Adherence to CDC guidelines for social distancing, hand sanitizing, and wearing facial coverings is recommended.
