BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The
new Family Bonfire & Night Hike
Series gets under way at Markham Park (16001 W
State Rd. 84, Sunrise 33326; 954-357-8868) on Friday, October 21st (theme:
Creatures of the Night), with additional dates on November 18th (Thankful for
Nature) and December 16th (Winter Wonderland). The programs are from
6:30 to 9PM, cost $4/person (ages 3 and up), and include a guided night hike
through the park and a bag of s'mores fixings.
