BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Public and private organizations join forces
again this year to celebrate the service of our veterans, as well as their
families, at Veterans Family Day, from 11AM to 2PM on Saturday, November 19th,
at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park (2520 NW Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale
33311; 954-357-8801).
This free special
event, coordinated by the Parks and Recreation Division's Special Populations
Section, will feature food, entertainment, games and raffles, and resources.
Other sponsors include the County's Municipal Services District, Elderly and
Veterans Services Division, and Libraries Division, along with many private
organizations.
