BROWARD COUNTY - In honor of Veterans Day, Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is partnering with the nonprofit CreatiVets to showcase the exhibit "From War to Words: A Visual Voices Portrait Series by Jason Myers" to FLL guests and employees.

Starting on November 11, 2022, the CreatiVets exhibit featuring 17 portraits of wounded veterans and graphic representations of songs they've written will be on display in two post-security locations: Terminal 1 Concourse A and the Terminal 4 International Arrivals hall.

"FLL is pleased to host this touching exhibit to spotlight these brave Americans and their stories," said Mark E. Gale, CEO/Director of Aviation. "As we commemorate Veterans Day, the exhibit is a small way to thank them and countless others for their sacrifices and service to this country."

The exhibit of portraits by Myers, an award-winning Nashville, Tenn.-based photographer, is expected to be displayed at FLL for several weeks.

"Collaborating with patriots who are finding new paths to heal through art and music is the most rewarding work of my career," Myers told CreatiVets, of the portrait series that has been shown recently at a handful of other U.S. airports.
