BROWARD COUNTY, FL -National Public Works Week runs May 21-27. This year's theme recognizes the hard work of the men and women in our Public Works Department who provide an invisible life-support system that "make normal happen." From maintaining stormwater systems, vacuuming flood waters from neighborhood streets after monumental rainfall to managing traffic signals and bridge maintenance, these services are critical to keeping the County up and running. Public Works employees often work around the clock to ensure residents have access to the infrastructure, buildings and services they need.
Public Works is hosting a job fair on Saturday, May 20 from 10AM to 2PM to recruit new talent for more than 25 positions within the Department. Jobs range from field work to management positions. Applicants and their families are invited to attend and can RSVP here. To find a full list of positions available, visit Broward.org/careers.
