BROWARD COUNTY, FL - October is one of Animal Care's favorite months. In addition to it being National Adopt a Shelter Dog month, there are plenty of events throughout the county for all animal lovers to enjoy. 

• Through October 15: Bissell Foundation Adoption Event at Broward County Animal Care, 2400 SW 42nd St., Fort Lauderdale. For every pet adopted, Animal Care will get a grant to help other pets in it's care. They are open daily from 11 AM to 5:30 PM for adoptions. 
• October 13-15: Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Movie Tabling at Cinemark Paradise 24 and XD, 15601 Sheridan St., Davie. To receive a special gift, please visit Animal Care's table at the event. 
• October 19: Equality Park After Dark at The Pride Center at Equality Park, 2040 N. Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors. 5 PM to 9 PM. 
• October 20: FUR-EVER Huggable Friends Adoption Event at the Broward County Main Library, 100 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale. 11 AM to 2 PM
• October 21: 7th Annual Wellness Jamboree at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park, 2520 NW 6th St., Fort Lauderdale. 10 AM to 2 PM.
• October 26: Trunk or Treat at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park, 2520 NW 6th St., Fort Lauderdale. 5 PM to 8 PM.
• October 29: Puppy Brunch at Flamingo Flea Market, Tarpon Brewery, 280 SW 6th St., Fort Lauderdale. 12 PM to 4:30 PM.
• October 29: Hamburger Mary's BINGO Night Fundraiser, 2426 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors. 6 PM to 9 PM.
• October 31: In-house Halloween Adoption Event at Broward County Animal Care, 2400 SW 42nd St., Fort Lauderdale. 11 AM to 5:30 PM for adoptions.
