BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Maintaining the health of your pet can be expensive,
especially with costs rising every day. But Broward
County Animal Care can help. It's hosting free Wellness Clinics in February and March,
aimed at providing basic pet care.
The clinics will be held at three locations:
- Firefighters Union
Building, 11 NW 36 Ave., Lauderhill, Friday, 2/9 from
2PM to 5PM
- West Park City Hall, 1965 S. State Rd. 7, West Park, Saturday, 2/10 from 10AM to 1PM
- Mitchell Moore Park, 901 NW 10 St, Pompano Beach, Sunday, 2/11 from 10AM to 1PM
A variety of free services will be offered including exams, vaccines, microchipping and monthly preventatives.
"We are proud to provide essential services to multiple
communities throughout Broward County," said Emily Wood, director of Broward
County Animal Care. "Being able to consistently provide these services and have such a big turn out each time helps to confirm how
much these resources are needed."
All services will be available while supplies last and will be
provided on a first come, first served basis. Appointments are encouraged, but
not required.
The next clinics will be held March 8-10.
