BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The message “Welcome to Broward County Libraries/Bem-Vindos às Bibliotecas do Condado de Broward” is extended to welcome and introduce Portuguese speakers to the many free resources and activities at their local Broward County Libraries, a free bilingual event takes place from 1 to 3PM on Saturday, September 7th at North Regional/Broward College Library, 1100 Coconut Creek Blvd. Coconut Creek, FL 33066, 954-201-2600.

The program features entertainment and information with a performance by the South Florida Chamber Ensemble, Portuguese/English storytelling with local Brazilian authors Andrea Skromovas and Cynthia Magnani, children’s crafts, and an introduction to library resources for citizenship workshops, self-improvement, language instruction and more.
