Some County Library Sites are Out of At-Home Test Kits

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The distribution of free at-home rapid COVID-19 test kits proved hugely popular with Broward County residents on Thursday. Nine libraries initially opened with a limited supply of the test kits. Traffic at the sites has been brisk all day.

The following libraries have distributed their supplies of rapid at-home test kits. Their distribution activities are CLOSED FOR TODAY.

  • Northwest Regional Library, 3151 N University Drive, Coral Springs
  • Hollywood Branch Library, 2600 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood
  • North Regional/Broward College Library, 1100 Coconut Creek Blvd., Coconut Creek
  • Northwest Branch Library, 1580 NW 3rd Ave., Pompano Beach
  • Southwest Regional Library, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines

The libraries that have closed for curbside distribution today remain open to patrons for library services.

The County will announce reopening dates, times and locations for Friday's rapid test kit distribution later today.
