Broward County Library Hosts Online Ukrainian Poetry Celebration

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Library is hosting "Ukrainian Poetry: History, Language & Losses," a free, online celebration of Ukrainian poetry, from 3 to 4:30PM on April 29 as an observance of National Poetry Month. 

A panel of three internationally known, distinguished poets will discuss the history of Ukrainian poetry, read their poems, and hold a question-and-answer session following their presentations. Panelists are Iya Yanivna Kiva, Lyuba Yakimchuk, and Oksana Lutsyshyna. 

The award-winning poets will discuss the history of Ukrainian poetry and its impact in telling the story of the Ukrainian people.
