BROWARD COUNTY, FL -
The Records, Taxes and Treasury Division will be mailing more than 430,000 property tax bills for 2014 on November 1st. Property taxes must be paid no later than March 31, 2015 to avoid penalties and delinquency fees, but may be paid as early as Nov. 1, 2014 to take advantage of discounts. A four percent discount applies to taxes paid in November; a three percent discount applies in December; a two percent discount in January; and a one percent discount in February.

Property owners without mortgages, or those who do not make use of an escrow arrangement, may pay their taxes in a variety of ways:

Online Credit Card/Debit Card:
Visit Broward County taxes. Use the search function to locate your property record, and follow instructions for payment by credit or debit card. There is an additional non-refundable fee for this service. The Fee Schedule is posted online at broward.org/recordstaxestreasury.

Online Electronic Check:
Visit Broward County taxes. Use the search function to locate your property record, and follow instructions for payment by automatic deduction from your bank account (US bank accounts only; no foreign banks). There is no fee for this service. Taxes will show as paid immediately; however, please note that delays in processing payments between your bank and Broward County, due to the absence of a payment coupon, could result in the loss of a discount if payment is made too close to the end of the discount period.

Mail:
Use the envelope enclosed with your tax bill or mail payment to Broward County Board of County Commissioners Processing Center, P.O. Box 849375, Hollywood, FL 33084-9375. This box will be in service until March 31, 2015. Be sure to include the tax coupon with your check paid in US funds from a US bank, or there may be a delay in processing. Postmark date will be used to determine the applicable discount amount. Should the check not clear for any reason, the tax payment will be canceled and a return check fee will be charged.

In Person:
At Broward County Records, Taxes and Treasury Division, Tax and License Section, Main Governmental Center, 115 S Andrews Ave., Room A-100, Fort Lauderdale, FL, from 8:30AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday, except County Holidays.

At a Wells Fargo Bank Branch:
Current tax bills may be paid in full (no partial payments), by check or money order paid in US funds from a US bank, at any Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Broward County, until March 31, 2015. Your 2014 tax coupon must accompany payment.

Partial Payments:
Current taxes may be paid in up to five partial payments. Partial payments must be for a minimum of $100 and include a $10 processing fee. Partial payments forfeit all tax discounts that would otherwise apply to early payments. The final payment must be payment in full and paid by March 31, 2015, or the balance due will be subject to penalties and interest.
