Four County Parks Will Offer Hayride/Campfire Events

WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The 2016-17 Family Hayride & Campfire Series kicks off on October 14th with an event at Easterlin Park in Oakland Park. Three other parks also participate in the series, which runs through mid-February 2017: Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, Tradewinds Park & Stables in Coconut Creek, and T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park in Hollywood.

 

The events are from 7 to 9:30PM at all parks except T.Y., where they run from 6 to 9PM. The fee is $3.50 per person (ages 2 and under free), which includes one hayride and one bag of fixings to make s'mores around the campfire afterward. Preregistration and prepayment are required.

HOW: Fee: $3.50 + sales tax for ages 3 and up. Preregistration and prepayment are required by calling or visiting the park of your choice.

About the Parks and Recreation Division

Founded in February 1956 and accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, Broward County Parks and Recreation Division manages almost 6,500 acres, encompassing nearly 50 regional parks and nature centers, neighborhood parks, and natural areas at various stages of development.
