WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Visit Tradewinds Park & Stables in Coconut Creek from 10AM to 4PM on Saturday, October 29th, when the park will double up on Halloween and celebrate its fifth annual Fall Festival. Tickets ranging from $1 per individual ticket to 25 tickets for $20 will let you pick and choose which specialty activities you want to participate in. Other regular park activities are fee-based.

                       

The roster of activities includes fall games and crafts, hayrides, food trucks, model steam train rides, farm tours and demos, barn tours, bounce houses. Proceeds benefit the Retirement Pasture, which provides a home within the park for horses that gave years of enjoyment and educational experiences to visitors.

HOW: Fees vary by activity. The park's regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $1.50/person (children 5 and under free) will also be in effect. A car or van with nine or fewer occupants pays $8, and a bus is charged $20 for admission.

Founded in February 1956 and accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, Broward County Parks and Recreation Division manages almost 6,500 acres, encompassing nearly 50 regional parks and nature centers, neighborhood parks, and natural areas at various stages of development.
