BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Calendar 100 is a yearlong listing of centennial-specific events starting October 1, 2014 through October 31, 2015. Events can be submitted by arts and cultural organizations, County agencies, municipalities, parks and recreation groups, and community business partners in Broward County. Events can include -- but are not limited to – festivals, lectures, literary events, film festivals, culinary arts, concerts, theater shows, art exhibitions, and any events connected to the Broward 100 theme.
Sanctioned events will be included on Broward 100’s website, promoted via weekly e-newsletters, social media and on Artscalendar.com, Broward County’s complete guide to the arts. Participating groups who get their events sanctioned will garner historical recognition as the County turns 100 in October 2015.
Sanctioned event requirements are:
- Broward 100 logos must be used on all promotional brochures, fliers, websites, press, media announcements and display materials. A style sheet will be provided detailing the approved use of the Broward 100 logo
- Event must be promoted as an “Official Broward 100” event
- Social Media posts must include the hashtag #Broward100
- Broward 100 QR codes may also be used and this will be provided
- Official Broward 100 materials will be distributed after your event has been sanctioned
