Hayride and Campfire Series Gets Under Way at County Parks

WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Broward County Parks and Recreation Division announces the schedule for its popular Family Hayride and Campfire Series. The events are held on Fridays from 7 to 9:30PM except at T.Y. Park, where the program runs from 6 to 9PM. Tickets are $3.50 per person (ages 3 and up), which includes one hayride and one bag of fixings to make s’mores around the campfire. Preregistration and prepayment are required.

There are three events scheduled for October: On October 10 at Quiet Waters Park, on October 24 at Easterlin Park, and on October 31 at T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park. Tradewinds Park joins the lineup starting in January.

Founded in February 1956 and accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, Broward County Parks and Recreation Division manages almost 6,500 acres, encompassing nearly 50 regional parks and nature centers, neighborhood parks, and natural areas at various stages of development.
