WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Visit Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek from 10AM to 3PM on Saturday, April 11th, when the park will host a variety of games and activities to celebrate an Earth Day Event. Tickets ranging from $1 per individual ticket to 25 tickets for $20 will let you pick and choose which specialty activities you want to participate in. Other regular park activities are fee-based. The park's regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $1.50/person (children 5 and under free) will be in effect.

                       

The roster of activities includes games and crafts, bounce houses, live entertainment, hayrides, food trucks, model steam train rides, farm tours and demonstrations, 4-H educational activities, and pony rides. Florida Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists will also be onsite sharing information on landscaping and wildlife, respectively.

HOW: Tickets are required for certain activities and are $1 each, or $5 for six, $10 for 12, and $20 for 25. The park's regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $1.50/person (children 5 and under free) will also be in effect. A car or van with nine or fewer occupants pays $8, and a commercial school bus is charged $20 for admission.

About the Parks and Recreation Division

Founded in February 1956 and accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, Broward County Parks and Recreation Division manages almost 6,500 acres, encompassing nearly 50 regional parks and nature centers, neighborhood parks, and natural areas at various stages of development.
