BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Friday Night at the Library: Destination Fridays travels to Colombia on Friday, November 8th from 6:30-9:30PM at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311, 954-357-6282.
Come dressed to dance, relax, mingle and have fun. Enjoy the evening's signature drink, the Aguardiente Sour, authentic Colombian food and music, art, dancing, prizes and a Colombian travelogue hosted by Linda Nation.
Dress up as your favorite character from the classic novel One Hundred Years of Solitude by Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez for a chance to win a “Best Dressed” prize.
