BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Highway and Maintenance Division will be performing necessary maintenance repairs on existing sidewalk and curb ramps on SW 4th Avenue between 9th Street and Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The work will begin on Tuesday, May 12th, with an expected completion date of July 27, 2015, barring unforeseen conditions or weather delays.

PROJECT LIMITS: SW 4th Avenue, between SW 9th Street to the south and Broward Boulevard to the north.

DESCRIPTION: The project involves repairing the existing sidewalks and curb ramps on both sides of SW 4th Avenue in order to make them compliant with the American with Disabilities Act.

Driveway modifications will be necessary, and residential access to some driveways may be affected for one or two days. Should your driveway access be affected, County staff will contact you 2-3 days prior to construction to discuss.

WHEN: Start Date: May 12th, 2015
             Completion Date: On or before July 27th, 2015

TRAFFIC: Traffic on SW 4th Avenue will be temporarily restricted to one lane in either the northbound or southbound direction during off-peak hours.
