Andrews Avenue Drawbridge Closing for Film Shoot

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Andrews Avenue drawbridge, between SE 6th Street and E. Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale, will be closing to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Sunday, January 23 from 12AM Midnight to 7PM. The closing is due to a film production shoot. 

Affected motorists and pedestrians will be detoured to the adjacent 3
rd Avenue drawbridge during this time. (See attached map). Marine vessel traffic through the bridge will be restricted between 2:30-4:30PM per approval from the U.S. Coast Guard.

Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division maintains and improves the County's highway/street system, operates drawbridges, and oversees mosquito control operations. The Division is responsible for cleaning and mowing rights-of-way, street patching and resurfacing, intersection improvements, canal maintenance and construction, guardrail maintenance, bridge maintenance, street cleaning and stormwater drainage improvements.
