BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Highway and Bridge
Maintenance Division (HBMD) will be performing urgent drainage repairs on Sheridan Street (eastbound) between NW 77th and NW 78th
Avenue in Pembroke Pines. (See attached map). Work will begin Monday, July 24, 2023 and conclude by
Saturday, August 5, 2023, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays. This project is funded by the Gas Tax.
To minimize impacts to nearby businesses and residents,
construction activities will occur between 9AM and 4PM. During construction,
two thru lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic along Sheridan Street
leaving at least one lane open in the eastbound direction. Access to driveways
and sidewalks will remain open.
HBMD staff will coordinate project activities with the City
of Pembroke Pines and emergency personnel. Variable message signs will be
posted to advise affected motorists and pedestrians.
